This picture shows the element of shade. When a picture is shaded it is usually in black and white and the dark parts are to show emphasis in the picture. The shading can also be used to show the picture in 3-d

This shows the element of colour. This actually shows the primary colours and secondary colours. Primary colours : red, blue, yellow. Secondary colours: orange, purple and green.

Element of Texture

This is an example of the element of texture. Texture is when the picture looks like it can be touched or felt. In this picture it looks like you could touch the rocks and it would feel like how it is in real life.It would be hard and sharp.

Element of Shape

This shows the element of shape. These shapes put together can make many images. Shapes can show many of the principlese when joined with the element of colour.

Element of Line

This is one of the elements of art. The element is line. The repitition of these lines make the picture look interesting.
